I have felt that a GREAT PAINTING of a mundane scene is far superior to
MUNDANE PAINTING of a great scene .
this is my thinking behind my recoiling away from marketeering.
a great marketer can sell mediocre paintings.
eloquent words and persuasive speech are not what should move a collector to purchase artwork.
I want to walk as far away from that as possible.
I also see no merit in "Bragging" which collections my paintings are In. (except to my brother ).
art seems to bring different people together, and I see a common inspiration and passion from all walks of life.
(as a caveat I will start listing Museum collections, this information can help an appraiser put a valuation on paintings you own for insurance, etc.).
